Following that trail long enough would lead you straight to Valhalla, you can just see the tip of it here...

Wow, this image is just absolutely beautiful. I had to favourite this immediately. First of all, an amazing landscape. Secondly, the composition is superb, you really nailed it. Typically in images of snow, it's desirable to have the snow completely clean without trails, but I love how here they so nicely act as leading lines. The fog-clouds that the path leads to with the mountain in the background is incredible, the favourite part of the image for me combined with the purple colour. Very mystical and fairytale-esque. The trees on the sides nicely frame the path as well and their darkness is a great contrast to the snow. I believe Marc Adamus had an image with a similar atmosphere to this too, this reminds me of his images actually. An incredible image Eythan. I cannot think of anything to critique. Well done. :)

Horribly intrusive watermarks are tacky. If you're concerned about people stealing your photos, don't post them on the internet.

Photography is the simultaneous recognition, in a fraction of a second, of the significance of an event. (HCB)

Nope, all I did was correct the white balance (that's all I try to ever do, I'm too lazy to set it with my camera). The sky was absolutely amazing.

Okay, thankees :D.

Considering it has three favourites in about 30 minutes, I'd say that generally no one wants me to move it to scraps :P

I agree with you there, well done on this, especially as you've not overly edited it, fantastic!
