This is my tree. You stay the hell away.

This guy kept pretty still. He's a grey squirrel, and while he's native to these parts, his kind are causing quite a problem over in the UK.

They're directly responsible for the decline of Europe's native red squirrel population; squirrels that are much prettier (in my opinion).

Grey's carry a disease that doesn't affect them very much, but is killing off as much as 80% of the red squirrel population in certain areas.

Transporting breeds between continents is a crime, and a serious one. Too bad it's too late to stop it.

Nice, that squirell looks like hes about to jump onto you and bite off your nose.

Great shot, you should put a waterstamp or something over your pics so people know youre the photographer. Theyre really nice.

Thanks :D. I would watermark them, but it's not worth the time when I'm not well-known enough for anyone to want to steal from me anyways.

Great shot! :D

I've red squirrels living quite near to me, but they move so fast I've never been able to take a photo of one. :(
The only ones that I've seen up close have been roadkill...

I do appreciate that you've turned this lovely photo into an equally lovely (and informative) public service announcement.

Thank you. I'm so terribly concerned about the fate of the red squirrel population in upper Dresden, but every time I try to talk to any about it, they don't have a clue. I don't know if it's more tragic for me or the squirrels.
